Business of the Year

 
This award recognizes a business or organization in the Chamber community for noteworthy accomplishments, long-standing contribution to the community, and significant community service efforts. This business / organization will have made a major, visible contribution in the past year that reflects commercial growth and achievement, innovation, creativity or community involvement. This organization is a member of the Chamber of Commerce for the South Lyon Area; contributes and promotes the economic growth, stability and improvement of the area which the Chamber serves; and gives of themselves and/or staff in time and resources to the Chamber community.
 

Organization of the Year

 
This award recognizes a business or organization in the Chamber community for noteworthy accomplishments, long-standing contribution to the community, and significant community service efforts. This business / organization will have made a major, visible contribution in the past year that reflects commercial growth and achievement, innovation, creativity or community involvement. Citizen of the Year

 
The Citizen of the Year recognizes an individual or individuals who serve as an inspiration to others and are recognized by the Chamber community as unselfishly giving his or her time and talent to produce a lasting benefit to the area. The Citizen of the Year consistently serves the area with outstanding ability and dedication, have voluntarily given their time, talent and energies without remuneration and have made a commitment to the well-being and quality of the life in the area.
 

Volunteer of the Year Award

 
The Volunteer of the Year Award is an award that the Chamber presents to a community member who has provided volunteer services to the community and worked above and beyond normal expectations. This award honors commitment to community and selfless determination to create a better place for all. This individual is involved in key community building activities, works to create new possibilities for those who are less fortunate, and has a never-die spirit. The Volunteer of the Year award is presented to that special individual who makes it their life's mission to create a a better life for all of us in this community and whose actions have a special community impact.
 

Ambassador of the Year

 
Chamber Ambassadors are a group of motivated, enthusiastic and articulate businessmen and women who serve as the backbone of the Chamberís membership retention program. They represent the Chamber at many civic and social functions. This award is presented to the Ambassador who put forth extraordinary efforts on behalf of the chamber. 
 

Lifetime Achievement Award

 
Lifetime Achievement Award. This great honor is reserved for outstanding members of the community and it honors a lifetime of outstanding service and accomplishment; civic and business leadership.
 

Phoenix Award

 

The Phoenix Award is an award that the Chamber presents to a member business that has overcome adversity and has resurrected a landmark business in our community.  The Phoenix Award is a symbol of the possibilities that exist in making a difference in promoting commerce and the well-being of the community. This is a business or organization that has reinvented itself, its location or line of business, has had a unique success, has improved its business model or has undergone a revitalization having special community impact.
